A Dog in a Cat Rescue
It was just another regular day for Kay Banks, who was going about her duties at the Tabby Tails Cat Rescue when she suddenly spotted something odd outside.
Upon stepping out, she observed a dog roaming around her cat rescue in Ohio, which seemed to belong to a neighbor.
However, upon further inspection, it became evident that the dog had been abandoned, prompting her to bring the dog inside right away.
She observed gray hair on the dog and realized that it was a senior canine. Banks named her Honey and determined that she was at least 15 years old, and discovered that she had a microchip.
After calling her former owners, it turned out that they had no interest in taking her back, leaving Banks to care for Honey for the time being.
Honey Is a Very Good Dog
She was determined to find a loving home for Honey, but it proved challenging, especially since her work revolved around cats and given Honey’s senior status.

Eventually, Honey became very comfortable with Banks and cherished her company.
Banks remains hopeful of finding someone willing to adopt a senior dog, despite her challenges, but she is more than happy to look after Honey until that perfect home is found.
