“Every time he looks out through the crack, it makes me a bit sad knowing how badly he wants to be adopted and that he’s just waiting for his forever person,” stated Shellby Hall, a shelter volunteer, in an interview with Newsweek.
Nonetheless, Hall also expressed joy for Carlo because he always brightens up when he sees her through the crack, recognizing it as time for a walk.
