Three Resilient Abandoned Puppies Stuck Together Through Tough Times and Found An Extraordinary Friend

Date:

Suzette Hall, the founder of Logan’s Legacy 29, a rescue organization in California, frequently gets calls about stray puppies wandering the streets of Southern California, searching for a compassionate human to lend them a hand.

But one particular day, she received an unusual call.

A Good Samaritan reached out to inform Hall that they had discovered not just one, but three adorable puppies roaming an abandoned property in Compton, steadfastly sticking together.

Help Is On The Way

Upon hearing this news, Hall recognized that this wouldn’t be an easy task. Capturing one frightened puppy is challenging enough, let alone three.

Nonetheless, she knew she had to devise a solid plan as she was their only chance of rescue.

“It was heartbreaking to witness. They are all so small,” Hall shared on Facebook.

Unfortunately, Hall’s rescue efforts faced an unexpected delay when her rescue van experienced mechanical issues.

Fortunately, her friend, Mary Nakiso, took the initiative to visit the puppies each evening, providing them with nutritious food to keep them healthy and strong while awaiting rescue.

When Hall finally arrived, she was taken aback by the strong bond among the puppies.

“They were frightened, but they had one another. Their love for each other was evident,” Hall remarked.

Hall decided to keep her distance to avoid scaring the puppies. Instead, she gently spoke to them in a calm and reassuring voice, filling them with sweet affirmations to show them that they were safe and there was no need for concern.

She quickly captured the smallest pup of the trio, while Nakiso worked to earn the trust of the middle pup. Thankfully, it didn’t take long, and soon both pups were secure in Hall’s van.

“The little girl adored Mary and was quick to trust her,” Hall noted.

The smallest puppy, Oscar, along with his sister Jolene, waited safely inside Hall’s van while the rescuers prepared to go back for their older sibling, Ollie.

“The third pup was extremely frightened and kept retreating into the garage,” she wrote.

Given his evident distrust, Hall and Nakiso agreed it best to allow him some space to relax while they transported his siblings to Camino Pet Hospital in California.

extra support.

Hall thought it might be effective to set up a humane trap near the garage where Ollie was hiding, hoping he would venture inside on his own.

When she returned the next morning, she was ecstatic to find Ollie patiently waiting in the trap, ready for her to take him home.

She immediately transported the sweet pup to the veterinary hospital, reuniting him with his adorable siblings.

“They were all trembling with fear. So cold and hungry. But at last, they were safe and together once more,” Hall shared.

These lovely triplets received complete check-ups at the hospital before heading off to a foster home. Hall’s friend, Genavie Ochoa, graciously offered to foster all three, ensuring they wouldn’t be separated.

Though Ollie still struggles with trusting humans, his lovable siblings are growing increasingly fond of their new life as house dogs.

However, their humans are confident that they will quickly move past their past hardships and fully embrace the bright future awaiting them.

“Ollie is quite frightened, but the other two are sweethearts who adore belly rubs. These poor little ones have endured so much,” Hall mentioned to The Dodo.

These precious little ones 😫 I’m making every effort to befriend the other one. He’ll need some more time, and that’s perfectly fine. They were rescued from an abandoned home in Compton, left to fend for themselves. They are incredibly tiny! If you’re interested in adopting or fostering this Chihuahua family, they’ll be with Logan’s Legacy 29. #dog#dogs#rescue#puppies#Chihuahua#fyp#cuties#love

I’m hopeful that Ollie, Jolene, and Oscar will find a loving forever home where they can truly relax and live their doggy dreams.

For now, the love and care from their foster home are more than enough to help them feel at ease.

“I bet they haven’t had such a good sleep in a long time. They are rescued and have each other,” Hall concluded.
