When Californian jail guards discovered a small intruder in their parking lot, they quickly sprang into action. Although they spent weeks attempting to befriend the frightened animal, the little furball remained unapproachable, having no other shelter. Rather than stress her out, the guards devised a gentler solution.
They set up a cozy bed and left food in a corner before reaching out to Suzette Hall, a devoted rescuer based in Irvine, California. Upon reviewing the images the guards provided, it became clear that the tiny intruder was a Chihuahua.
She Was So Scared Of Everyone

She roamed the parking lot for about two weeks, evading any attempts by humans to come close. “This tiny little girl was by herself in a jail parking area for two weeks. I feel sad thinking about how scared she was all that time,” Hall shared in a Facebook post.

Throughout this time, the guards continued their efforts by leaving food and creating a safe resting area for her. When Hall finally approached Tiny, the frightened dog bolted once more. Understanding that such behavior was typical in strays, Hall set up a humane trap, placing a bed inside. After only half an hour, she found Tiny inside, finally safe after days of solitude.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Hall couldn’t help but cry tears of joy, knowing Tiny’s two-week ordeal was finally over. “Seeing this little girl safe made me so happy,” Hall expressed.
