Like many shelter dogs, Ace desired to meet loving humans but spent over 420 days at the Miami-Dade Animal Services Pet Adoption & Protection Center in Florida, losing hope that someone would choose him. But his luck was about to change.
Experiencing The Sweet Life

When Hurricane Milton struck on October 9th, 2024, the shelter called for community members to foster its residents for safety. Gabrielle Brudner and her family stepped up and visited the shelter, where they found Ace lying on a thin blanket on a hard floor, developing sores from discomfort. Moved by his condition, the compassionate family decided to foster Ace and provide him with the love he deserved.
Thrilled to leave the chaos of the shelter behind, Ace jumped with joy as he embraced his new temporary home. He quickly became a cherished member of the Brudner family, capturing Gabrielle’s heart, who wished for his deserving forever home.

After several days, Ace was relocated to another foster home, which saddened Gabrielle. Learning that the new placement wasn’t suitable made her think of him constantly. He returned to the Miami shelter to participate in a two-week training and obedience program.
Ace’s Life Changes Forever

It wasn’t just Gabrielle who fell for Ace; her whole family adored him. Acknowledging how much they missed seeing his joyful face daily, the Brudner family decided to adopt him. Gabrielle was ecstatic when her father shared the news.
Once Ace completed his training program, his new family picked him up and brought him home, where his heart swelled with happiness. To ensure he felt at ease in his forever home, they purchased a bed and a soft blanket bearing his name. Ace was overjoyed, stretching out on his new bed with a smile that spoke volumes of contentment.

Gabrielle shared a video of his adorable reaction to his new bed on TikTok, and viewers were delighted. Ace was ecstatic to finally reside in the warmth and comfort of a home.

From a lonely shelter dog, Ace transformed into a happy pet enjoying his new luxurious life, proving that dreams can come true with love and compassion. Thank you, Gabrielle Brudner and family, for making Ace’s dream a reality.
