New York Owner Returns Home to Discover His Labrador in a Hilarious Predicament

Date:

Have you ever left your dog at home while running errands? If so, what’s their reaction when you return? Are they eagerly waiting by the door, overhearing your every move, or are they huddled in a corner with a disapproving look, asking, “How could you leave me?” However, Magnus, a clever Labrador Retriever, did something entirely different that had his owner and the internet in stitches of laughter.

Are You For Real, Magnus?

Life with Magnus is anything but dull for his owner, Brian Benson, a New York resident. One day, Brian left Magnus alone for about an hour, expecting to find him eagerly greeting him at the door. However, when he returned, Magnus was nowhere to be found. Upon further inspection, Brian discovered that Magnus was fast asleep, practically half-sitting on the couch with his belly up, completely relaxed—all while looking as though he was enjoying the best nap ever, utterly unfazed by his dad’s absence.

“I came home and found my dog like this. I was only gone for about an hour. I am not sure exactly what happened. He is usually such a good boy. Should I even ask,” Brian remarked in the video.

Surprised by the hilarious sight, Brian recorded the entire event and decided to share the video of Magnus with his followers, leading to a flood of humorous comments.

“How do you think the house stays so clean? He’s exhausted!” wrote one commenter, while another quipped, “You can remove the ‘beware of the dog’ sign.”

He’s So Much More Than A Pet

Beyond his quirky nature, Magnus is actually a certified therapy dog! This exceptional pup isn’t just a wonderful pet; he possesses a remarkable ability to help others cope with various challenges. As stated on Magnus’ official website, after substantial research, it was clear that Magnus’ personality, temperament, and intelligence made him perfect for this role.

He offers support to terminally ill individuals, grieving families, children with learning disabilities, emotional disorders, and even provides comfort to hospital staff who often go unnoticed during the treatment of hospice patients. All this is done with a bright smile, showcasing his friendly disposition that truly mends broken hearts. Magnus, we are grateful for your generous work!

P.S. We hope to see more of your funny videos!
