When envisioning an office, the typical images of cubicles, desks, and various workspaces come to mind.
Yet, one surprising element that many wouldn’t anticipate is the presence of dogs—possibly several—within a workplace.
So, how does this arrangement function, and what prompts businesses to incorporate dogs into their offices? For this auction house, it’s quite straightforward, as they chose to approach their operations in a unique manner.
The Perfect Office Environment

From the outset of Bellmans auction house’s journey, the founders were eager to embrace the inclusion of dogs in their office.
One dog who seems to revel in his role more than others is Claude. He has quite a commanding presence among his human coworkers.
Whenever a visiting dog arrives at the reception, Claude diligently sniffs them to ascertain their suitability for entry.
And when one of his colleagues arrives with food, this clever pup is known to give her the most pleading puppy eyes, hoping for a treat from her lunch.

However, when Claude needs a break from the hustle and bustle, he simply lies down in the middle of the office.
This effectively means his human colleagues have to navigate around him to avoid disrupting his much-needed naptime.
Having been there since he was a puppy, it’s no surprise that he considers this office his home. Colleagues often tease that he’s the one running Bellmans.
A Furry Community

In addition, there are other dogs present, including Missy, Nelly, and Peggy. Claude enjoys playing with them, creating an adorable scene in the workplace.
Additionally, they have two Black Labradors who are fond of art, albeit they tend to socialize less with the other office dogs.
Occasionally, the team likes to utilize Claude as a mascot for various products, and he eagerly poses for photographs.

Thanks to the excellent treatment he receives, it’s evident that Claude feels a sense of importance, and in the best way possible. He is cherished by everyone in the office.
For the past ten years, he has been a loyal office companion, working from nine to five. It’s truly remarkable when you consider it.
If, for any reason, Claude is unable to come to work, his absence is genuinely felt by everyone.

Claude has earned the affection and admiration of his human coworkers, and they sincerely cannot envision a day without his presence.
Clearly, this company takes great pride in its policy allowing employees to bring their dogs to work, which undoubtedly benefits everyone involved.
These canine companions are cherished members of the team, and we hope they continue to relish their time in this beloved workplace for many years to come.
