This prompted Drew to hurry back to the shelter to ensure he didn’t miss the chance to reunite with his cherished friend!
The Moment Has Finally Arrived
Julius had a great time with his recent guests but could have never expected they would come back just for him!
On the day of the campaign launch, Drew took a consequential step. He returned to the Austin Pets Alive center with Christina, focused solely on submitting their application for Julius without delay.
The staff at the shelter were moved by Drew’s gesture. They decided to capture this endearing moment on camera, documenting the couple and Julius meeting for the second time.
“Bumi, previously known as Julius, is just one of many pets who found a loving home during #ClearTheShelters,” the shelter shared on social media.
In his first video, Drew proudly shared that he had arrived at the rescue about two hours early, eager to be the first in line to adopt Julius.
“I’m here for Julius. He’s a two-year-old Shepherd mix and I can’t wait to reunite with him. I showed up about two hours early; I want him to come home with me,” Drew shared with APA.
Drew and Christina’s excitement was palpable as they reunited with their big furry companion. The moment they laid eyes on him, shared a few cuddles, they were certain he was “their dog!”

Julius quickly recognized his friends from their previous meet-up and joyfully rushed over to greet them.
