What Is Her Breed?
When a compassionate woman discovered Frankie beneath the bush, she was deeply unsettled. This tiny furball was abandoned through no fault of her own after being kept by a local breeder.
After expressing she couldn’t keep her, Erica, a rescuer from Scottsdale, Arizona, and her family promptly stepped in!
“She was found under a bush. The woman took her in but didn’t wish to keep her permanently,” Erica explained to GeoBeats Animals.
They welcomed Frankie on a fostering basis, aiming to prepare her for adoption with a loving family.
They understood that there was a compelling reason Frankie ended up abandoned. Their suspicions were confirmed after the initial vet visit!
Due to the consequences of overbreeding, Frankie arrived with a short snout, thickened intestines, poor dental health, and cropped ears. These conditions severely impacted her ability to enjoy a regular dog life.
By attempting to create a miniature version of a Bully, her previous owner burdened Frankie with numerous health challenges.
Her intestinal issues left her feeling perpetually hungry, as food wasn’t being absorbed effectively in her body. Furthermore, her short nose hampered her breathing abilities.
Yet, Erica was determined to provide Frankie with a chance at life. With proper care, they poured their love into Frankie, making her feel at home. Initially, they opted to conduct a DNA test for her – the outcomes left them astounded!
“We conducted her DNA test. She had 44 relatives who were half-siblings. This indicates a larger breeding operation from which she was simply discarded,” Erica revealed.
Sleeping Beauty, Or Is She?
Now, Frankie lives a perfect life, all thanks to her family’s continuous dedication to accepting her as she is. As a heartwarming gesture of gratitude, she gives back in the sweetest ways.
Frankie has become an essential member of her family, showcasing a delightful blend of playfulness and spunk!
She can transition from a sleepy head to an energetic ball of joy in mere moments. Frankie adores playing, cuddling, engaging in playful tussles with other dogs, and snoozing in bizarre positions!
You might find her stacked atop her dog siblings, lounging on the couch, or simply dangling off the bed – she does it all!
Frankie’s extraordinary character amazed her family more than they expected.
Consequently, it wasn’t long before her dad fell head over heels for her. Despite the initial foster intention, they unanimously agreed that Frankie was meant to stay!
These days, Frankie resides blissfully in her Arizona home, showering her housemates with unconditional love.
