“The shelter notes indicated she was anxious and wouldn’t eat her food, which truly saddened me,” Kim recalled.
Still mourning the loss of her cherished dog, Panda, Kim instantly felt a connection with Dolly and decided to provide the tender home she deserved.
On her adoption day, Dolly was incredulous that she was finally leaving the shelter in Washington.
During the car ride home, the nervous pup couldn’t stop barking, clueless that her life was about to take a turn for the better.
Once settled into her new home, Dolly felt frightened and required time to adjust.
Whenever she woke in the night barking and trembling, her mom was there to comfort and love her.
Embracing Her New Life
Slowly but surely, Dolly began to feel secure, realizing her mom would always be there for her.
Thanks to her mom’s unwavering love and encouragement, Dolly faced her fears and gradually gained confidence.
Her mom firmly believes that fate brought them together for a reason.
“I truly think it was destiny that we found each other. We both needed this,” Kim shared.
