Dog Rescued from Life Near a California Freeway Celebrates Kindness of a Good Samaritan

Date:

Stray dogs often seek shelter in places where they can feel safe and undisturbed, usually hidden away in isolated buildings or tucked into corners along the street. However, some dogs exhibit different behavior by staying in busy areas filled with people, possibly because they feel more secure being around humans and believe it may increase their chances of finding help.

Take the case of this dog, who chose to stay near a busy freeway entrance. One day, a kind-hearted person noticed him there and decided to take action.

He Needs All The Help He Can Get

When Suzette Hall was informed by her friend Denisse Maldonado about a dog living next to a freeway entrance in California, she was taken aback. The dog had been in that spot for over a week, with Denisse regularly bringing him food. Although Denisse tried to find a foster home for him, it proved challenging for a larger dog like him.

Nonetheless, this loving pup was just thrilled that someone cared for him and felt secure knowing he had support.

After some diligent searching, they successfully secured a wonderful foster home for this cheerful dog. Denisse and Sandra Viveros Jackson, the new foster mom, visited the pup to take him home. To facilitate the rescue, they brought a heavy trap, believing it would be necessary. Upon their arrival, they were met with joy as the pup ran towards them.

The Easiest Rescue Ever

Filled with excitement, he readily accepted treats from them. While he enjoyed his snacks, Denisse set up her trap to safely escort him into the kennel. Once prepared, the pup walked right in, making it one of the simplest rescues Denisse had experienced. However, the journey wasn’t complete; they now needed to find him a permanent home.

In the interim, Sandra welcomed the pup into her California home, giving him the opportunity to experience life in a warm environment filled with love and care. Although his backstory remains a mystery, one trait is certain: he is a sweet dog with an abundance of love to share, deserving of a special forever home. While updates on his adoption status have yet to be announced, we remain hopeful that his future will be bright.
