Charming Deaf Pit Bull Chooses Chaos: Meet the Most Mischievous Dog You’ll Ever Encounter!

Date:

To all my farming friends, you surely understand that each animal on your farm plays a vital role.

The chickens lay delicious eggs; the cows provide creamy milk; and the goats assist in clearing the fields of excess vegetation. We can all agree that a farm isn’t complete without a devoted guard dog.

A great guard dog is familiar with the land just like you, patrolling the fields for any potential threats, keeping an eye on the livestock, and, of course, offering wonderful companionship.

But there’s a lovable farm dog named Evie who decided it was time to shake things up.

A New Home

Evie’s early life wasn’t easy.

Sadly, she was heartlessly discarded from a moving vehicle at just 8 weeks old. Confused, injured, and utterly desolate, she was fortunate enough to be rescued by Valley of The Sun Dog Rescue in Arizona.

Once they provided her with the care she needed, they sought a loving foster home where Evie could relax and discover the meaning of love.

Shortly after their search began, the Arizona shelter received a message from a farm owner named Allison Thomison. Despite the unfortunate incident that left little Evie deaf, she was determined not to let it affect her spirited nature.

Recognizing her spirit, Thomison immediately fell in love and chose to adopt her.

Now, you might assume that a pup residing on a farm would naturally become a diligent guard dog. However, Evie had different plans.

Little Chaotic Evie

Evie doesn’t seem to be interested in hard work or taking life too seriously.

“On the farm, she brings chaos by playing with cows, chasing goats, befriending stray cats, and even trying to interact with coyotes,” Thomison shared with Newsweek.

From wading in the water bowl to snatching food to drinking milk straight from a cow’s udder, Evie simply goes with the flow!

Since she can’t hear anything , she compensates with her keen eyesight.

“She adores children and other animals, particularly sprinting alongside the larger dogs. As her world is entirely visual, she observes airplanes soaring above, notices the changing leaves, and keeps track of every rock, branch, and plant scattered across the farm,” Thomison added.

Thomison is completely smitten with her lovely girl and doesn’t view her as disabled; rather, she considers her to be “differently abled”.

“People should not fear a deaf dog. Evie has a perspective on the world that is beyond our comprehension, yet she is the happiest animal I’ve ever met. There’s so much we could learn from Evie,” she concluded.
