A dog was lying there, utterly helpless and unable to move away from the speeding cars. The sight deeply disturbed the man, prompting him to rush to the dog’s side. Alone and without a vehicle, his only option was to move her off the road.

She Was On The Verge
Galina, a passionate dog lover and rescuer, responded to the man’s call alongside her colleague. Though they arrived a few hours later, the dog was still at the location.
She lay there completely vulnerable and in anguish. Struggling to elevate her head or make any movement, her eyes lit up as soon as the humans approached.
She appeared immensely grateful and relieved to finally receive compassion. It was as though she understood that her fight for survival was finally over.
In an incredible moment, the dog—later named Yasmin—mustered all her strength and crawled toward the rescuers’ car, desperate for help. She couldn’t stop whimpering, but her spirit never wavered!
Galina and her colleague were determined to alleviate Yasmin’s suffering, so they placed her in the back of their vehicle and rushed to the nearest veterinary clinic.
Upon arrival, Yasmin underwent an extensive examination and numerous tests. Sadly, the results were devastating…
Yasmin’s Condition Was More Severe Than Initially Assumed
The tests revealed that this neglected stray wasn’t merely malnourished. Yasmin had a dangerously low body temperature and was suffering from inflammation of her mammary glands. But the situation was even graver.
Yasmin had sustained a broken spine, which hindered her ability to move. The injury was so severe that surgery would not restore her ability to use her hind legs.
Galina felt heartbroken upon hearing the news. It was a heavy burden to handle, but even in this dark moment, she was determined to assist this brave dog!
Thanks to a compassionate community that Galina shared Yasmin’s story with, this courageous dog was sent for further rehabilitation.
The journey ahead will undoubtedly be challenging, filled with both highs and lows, but neither Galina nor Yasmin plan to give up! They are both strong-willed individuals ready to pursue the light at the end of the tunnel.
I firmly believe that, in due time, Yasmin will find the perfect home with owners who will cherish her for who she truly is. She is a loving and sweet soul!
