Initially, Yates thought Willow’s excitement stemmed from spotting another dog in their neighborhood.
However, Yates soon realized that Willow was genuinely thrilled to be going home.

“I have my theories, but I really just think she feels like this is her home. To a shelter dog that has come from rough beginnings, having a stable environment makes all the difference in the world,” Yates expressed her thoughts regarding Willow’s cheerful responses.
