Veterinary technicians Maggie Thornberry and Elizabeth Daniele swiftly scanned the pup, Diva, for a microchip and were relieved to hear the confirming beep, leading them to contact Diva’s owner.
What they discovered next was shocking: Diva had been missing for two months and had traveled across four states! “I didn’t think I was going to see her again because she’d been gone for two months. Ultimately, no one was as joyful as Rodriguez, cradling her beloved Diva. “Diva’s doing really well and has gotten back into her routine. Just seeing her again—I still can’t believe she’s here. I cried and prayed; my baby is home now,” Rodriguez concluded.
