When Hope For Paws, a 501 non-profit animal rescue organization located in Los Angeles, California, received a call about a puppy left behind at a truck stop, they promptly halted their activities and rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, they couldn’t locate the dog anywhere.
To simplify the process for both themselves and the dog, they opted to set a trap and wait for the pup to show up.
After several hours, they spotted someone nearing their trap.
Rescue Mission
It was the very puppy they had come to save!
The puppy wandered around, catching the scent of the delicious food they had set as bait, and due to his probable hunger, he ate it.
As the trap door shut, the dog became startled. Fortunately, a rescuer named Katie McKittrick was attentively watching and managed to soothe the pup with her calm and gentle voice.
The puppy, now affectionately named Bobbi, was quite nervous. Uncertain of what was happening, he thankfully received comforting words from Katie, assuring him that life was only going to improve from here on out.
Katie brought Bobbi to the Los Angeles rescue center, where he received a warm reception filled with pets and cuddles.
Initially, he gazed at the wall, still confused about his situation. Fortunately, he soon realized there was nothing to fear.
Bobbi was given a wonderful bath to highlight his handsome features.
As soon as L.A. Animal Rescue learned about him, they kindly offered to take him in as a foster and demonstrate to him just how beautiful life can be.
He is now experiencing the best life ever with his foster family, spending his days running and enjoying himself.
Bobbi no longer needs to worry about looking after himself as he has wonderful humans around him who take care of all his needs.
