Discover How This Couple Planned the Most Unforgettable Wedding by Inviting Numerous Dogs to Join the Celebration

Date:

As a dog mom, it truly pains me to leave my furry friend at home when I have to go to places where he isn’t welcome.

Whether I’m dining at a restaurant, attending a party, or going to an event, I always take extra moments with my little buddy, making sure he knows I’ll return before he can even miss me.

That’s why, when I get the chance to take him along, it’s hard to say who’s more excited – me or him.

You can imagine my delight when I stumbled upon a wonderful story on social media the other day – a lovely couple decided to invite dogs to their wedding!

Happily Ever After

When devoted dog lovers Karya and Oliver Davies decided to get married, they embarked on several months of wedding planning.

From choosing the dress to selecting the venue, these lovebirds had an extensive to-do list.

However, when it came to compiling the guest list, Rufus was an absolute must!

“We adore dogs in our family; they play a significant role in our lives, and we couldn’t envision our special day without them. Initially, when the registrar read our personal vows, she thought we were referring to a small child based on a few lines we had both penned about our golden retriever, Rufus,” shared Davies with Newsweek.

When they discovered their venue was dog-friendly, the only sensible choice was to invite the pups!

Doggo Heaven

The guidelines were straightforward… if you received an invitation for the special day and were a devoted dog parent, bring your doggo!

And indeed, they showed up.

Seven adorable pups attended the celebration: Rufus, Orlando, Eddie, Dexter, Willow, Harley, and Melodie. They certainly stole the spotlight until the bride arrived, of course!

Fortunately, a talented wedding photographer named Sophie Collins documented the delightful moments and shared them on her social platforms, captivating animal lovers from around the globe.

The video showcases these beautiful pups demonstrating impeccable behavior as the perfect guests.

Unsurprisingly, the internet adored it!

Many chimed in the comments, gushing over how charming these guests were, and expressing their desire to do something similar at their weddings.

“More weddings like this. I think I’d do the same,” one user commented.

“My ideal kind of celebration. I’d happily take care of all of them while the owners enjoyed themselves,” said another.

One user encapsulated it perfectly by stating: “What a pawfect wedding.”

However, one commenter had a unique suggestion: “Would it be odd if I invited only the dogs as guests?”

A huge thank you to this amazing couple for including their fur baby in such a memorable occasion.

You certainly made a pup very happy.

I wish you both all the best… thank you!
