This ‘Unwanted Pup’ Proves He Deserves Love with His New Mom

Date:

All that Bullet, a gentle senior pup, desired was to snuggle on his owner’s lap and bask in their affection. Unfortunately, he spent his time crammed in a small outdoor kennel, feeling utterly lonely and abandoned.

Bullet longed for the day when his family would take him out of the kennel, so he could cozy up with them in a warm and loving home.

When he finally realized that his family no longer wanted him, the once lively pup became a sad and terrified dog who had completely given up.

Upon learning about a pup named Bullet in distress, Rachael Sylvester, a dedicated dog rescuer, along with her team from Sidewalk Specials, rushed to meet him.

After speaking with the dog’s neighbors, they discovered that Bullet’s owner no longer wanted him.

As they approached the little dog’s cramped kennel, they braced themselves for the possibility of encountering a fearful dog.

However, when they peered inside, they were met with the gaze of the sweetest pup. The sorrow reflected in his brown eyes shattered their hearts.

His kennel had been neglected for a long time, leaving him with hardly any space to rest comfortably.

The owner requested the rescuers to take Bullet away since he had become a senior dog, and they could no longer care for him.

When the rescuers attempted to slip a leash around his neck to lead him away, Bullet froze and looked away. He was visibly terrified.

With determination, Sylvester successfully placed a leash on him and lifted him out of his kennel. He completely surrendered in her arms.

“At first, I thought, ‘Can he walk?’ because he was that frozen with fear,” Sylvester shared with The Dodo.

Determined to find a loving retirement home for him, Sylvester brought him to the vet, where Bullet underwent a comprehensive medical examination. She discovered that he had arthritis and was suffering from pain due to an inadequate diet, old age, and the harsh winter months spent outside. The vet prescribed him the necessary medication.

Discovering His Forever Love

With his gentle nature, Bullet won over the hearts of the rescuers, leading them to rename him Noah. Sylvester was confident that his charming personality would attract the perfect forever home. And she was absolutely right.

The exceptionally lovable Noah caught the eye of Jacqui, a kind-hearted woman who already had five dogs. She welcomed Noah into her home and showered him with the love and care he so desperately needed.

After two to three weeks in his new environment, the gentle Noah adjusted seamlessly. He enjoyed spending time with his furry siblings and learned so much from them.

Noah is deeply attached to his new mom, often staying close when she works at her desk.

The charming pup is more active than ever, relishing long walks with Jacqui. His beautiful eyes shine with joy, and his contagious smile says it all.

“He’s just absolutely thriving. I love him to bits,” Jacqui expressed to The Dodo.

Noah loves cuddling with Jacqui and sometimes drifts off to sleep beside her. He feels secure and cherished, knowing he’s finally found his forever home.
