However, it’s not common for dogs to grow much larger than anticipated.
Yet, that’s exactly what happened with a charming Frenchie, leaving his owners in such shock that they felt compelled to conduct a DNA test to uncover the mystery.
A Surprise Gigantic Pup
When a couple from Arizona adopted their delightful French Bulldog, they were under the impression they would have a small dog, as this breed usually weighs between 16 and 28 pounds.
However, Apollo, their furry companion, had other plans.
Over time, this charming little pup began to grow larger and stronger, and… well… he didn’t slow down.
By the time Apollo turned seven months, he had ballooned to an astonishing 75 pounds! Acknowledging his size would certainly not do him justice.
In disbelief, his parents took to social media, specifically TikTok, to showcase just how large their once small dog had become.

While the proud Arizona couple embraced their dog’s remarkable stature, they still sought to understand the reason behind his rapid growth.
Uncovering the Mystery: The DNA Test
When they initiated the DNA testing process, the owners were uncertain of what they might discover, but once the results arrived, everything clicked into place.
The results revealed that Apollo is composed of 37 percent English Bulldog and 53 percent French Bulldog.
Additionally, the analysis indicated that he is also 4 percent American Pit Bull Terrier, 2 percent Boston Terrier, and 4 percent American Staffordshire Terrier. Quite a mix!
Anyone who encounters this lovely pooch is often left amazed. His videos frequently receive delightful comments highlighting just how adorable Apollo is.
