Deaf Dog Can’t Take Its Eyes Off a Truck – The Surprising Reason Will Shock You!

Date:

When an adorable deaf Pit Bull named Evie kept staring at a broken-down truck, her owner, Allison Thomison, didn’t think much of it. Living on a 300-acre farm in rural Arizona, it was common for Evie to encounter wild animals like rattlesnakes or Gila monsters. However, when Evie continued to fixate on the truck Thomison’s husband was working on, Allison felt compelled to investigate.

As Thomison approached, she quickly realized what had caught Evie’s attention: a little kitten! To her surprise, she recognized the kitten as Mini-Me. A few weeks earlier, she had seen this adorable kitten closely following her cat, Noodle, who was a neutered male. She had speculated whether their striking resemblance was just coincidental or if they were indeed related.

Thomison affectionately named the kitten Mini-Me and, like his previous mysterious appearances, he vanished again until Evie uncovered his hiding spot.

As the truck underwent repairs—with the entire motor removed—there was ample space for Mini-Me to settle in comfortably. Getting him out, however, proved to be quite a challenge. He was understandably wary of Thomison, making it clear he wasn’t ready to leave his newfound sanctuary.

“He was very spicy … But he soon realized we were there to help him, and he came out,” Thomison shared with The Dodo.

Now a resident of the farm, Mini-Me has a knack for creating mischief. Fortunately, he enjoys the company of Thomison’s other three cats, prompting her to joke that Evie discovering him in the truck marked the beginning of their journey to acquire another cat!

Even though Evie was the one to find Mini-Me, he isn’t particularly fond of her, often swiping at her whenever he gets the chance. According to Thomison, “He swipes at Evie every chance he gets.”

Cats Will Be Cats

Mini-Me is now cherished in a loving home, equipped with everything he needs, including his own cozy corner in an air-conditioned barn. However, as is typical of cats, he prefers to do things his way, especially when it comes to his beloved truck.

“He’s kind of like Oscar the Grouch with his little trash can … he just loves being in there,” Thomison concluded.
