Have you ever considered how a dog views the world around them?
The owner of a Chihuahua mix named June Bug, shared this concept when she decided to attach a GoPro camera to her furry friend to record some adorable moments at the dog park.
Things took an intriguing twist as the inquisitive pup’s escapades were caught on camera.
The Adventures Of June Bug

June Bug was rescued from the streets of Texas and now resides with her owner in New York City.
As a five-year-old Chihuahua mix, she adores coordinating outfits with her owner and enjoys visiting dog parks to meet new furry pals.
With hopes of capturing some cute and shareable videos, June Bug’s owner attached the GoPro camera to her, but the outcome was quite different than anticipated.
The amusing footage of June Bug’s escapades had everyone in stitches.
“POV: You attach a GoPro to your dog for some cute videos, and this is what you get instead…,” read the engaging caption accompanying the hilarious video shared on TikTok.
The following segment of the video depicted June Bug sprinting after much larger dogs while engaging in some extensive sniffing.
Rather than adorable footage, the video turned out to be filled with her enthusiastic butt sniffing.
“It really is just a lot of butt sniffing…,” acknowledged June Bug’s mom. To support her claim, she shared a perspective that clearly illustrated June Bug’s fascination with following the other canines around.
The video swiftly went viral, leaving countless viewers in stitches.
“😂😂😂 I was considering getting a GoPro for my malinois to catch her ears flapping while she runs… now I’m reconsidering,” one user humorously commented on Instagram.
Despite the owner’s well-meaning attempt to capture sweet moments “backfiring,” the resulting video brought a great deal of joy to many, which is what truly matters.
“Oh my gosh, I can’t remember the last time I laughed out loud! 😂😂😂,” enthused a viewer on TikTok.
June Bug’s social media presence was created with the intention of spreading joy and inspiring others to rescue and adopt, and it is achieving just that.
“Being adopted was the best thing that ever happened to me, and my goal is to help as many dogs find their forever homes,” shared June Bug on her Instagram.
Why Do Dogs Sniff Each Other’s Rear Ends?

As explained by VCA Animal Hospital, “Dogs sniff each other’s rear ends as a means of greeting and to gather important information. Each dog’s odor is distinctive, allowing them to ascertain if they have met before.”
In the canine realm, this sniffing behavior plays a significant role as a form of social interaction and fosters a sense of familiarity and communication among dogs.
This ritual enables dogs to discern each other’s gender, health, and diet, and it can also act as a method to alleviate stress for some canines.
