Alabama Owner Amused After Discovering What Her Guard Dogs Were Alerting Her To

Date:

Being guard dogs on a farm is no small task. From ensuring the safety of their human companions to overseeing the entire property, there’s a lot at stake. If only they could talk, every guard dog would likely insist that one can never be too careful or too cautious.

Allow me to introduce you to Rosie and Bronx, two exceptional pups living on a farm in Alabama with their owners, Amanda and Chris. Realizing that having too many guardians is never a problem on a farm, the couple decided to adopt Bronx. However, after rescuing Rosie from a difficult situation, Amanda and Chris welcomed her into their home as well.

“Rosie was abandoned on our road, and we brought her home, and Bronx fell in love with her instantly,” Cameron shared in an interview. The two dogs swore an oath to protect the farm and everyone on it, leading them to keep their eyes and ears wide open for any signs of trouble.

Intruder Alert

One night, the dogs alerted Amanda about a potential intruder in their dog house. Without hesitation, she grabbed a torch and hurried after the pups, who were eager to lead her to the source of concern. As they approached the area, Amanda quickly discovered the surprising truth.

What seemed to be a threat turned out to be simply a leaf inside the dog house. Not wanting to look foolish in front of their owner, the brave pups quickly summoned their courage and valiantly attacked the offending leaf. After an epic struggle, they successfully evicted it from their domain!

“Bronx is a very cautious dog; any deviation from his routine can disrupt his day,” Cameron noted. “Rosie gets hyped up when I encourage her to ‘get it’.”

What Did The Internet Say?

After sharing this amusing episode on her TikTok page, the video went viral within days, drawing a flurry of comments. Viewers chimed in with their thoughts on the heroic pups.

“Crunchy leaves are the most unpredictable and dangerous,” joked one user. Another remarked, “Fall is going to be dangerous this year.” One commentator highlighted the pups’ composure, stating, “The important thing is they didn’t overreact and handled the situation with grace.”

One user even shared a personal tale about a similarly scary situation, recounting, “One time a plastic bag got stuck in a tree, and my two Rottweilers wouldn’t go out front to potty for three days until I got it down.”
