With a severely injured back leg, he limped through the neighborhood, searching for shelter from an imminent winter storm, only to find himself without a safe place.
Then, the moment arrived. A woman spotted Mac limping beside her vehicle, and she instantly stopped to assist him. The rest is now history!
Saved Moments Before The Cold Winter Storm
Mac couldn’t have asked for a better rescuer than Alisha Vianello, the director of Gateway Pet Guardians from East St. Louis, Illinois. Along with her colleague Jill, Alisha found Mac struggling against the frigid cold and decided to assist him immediately.
They took a brief moment to devise a plan to coax Mac into their vehicle, but before they could even offer him a treat, something incredible happened. Mac approached the car on his own and instantly warmed to his rescuers.
