Date:

Explaining the bond between humans and dogs to those who have never owned one is challenging. The love, fears when they’re unwell, and the emptiness they leave behind when not around—it’s all genuine!

A touching story from New York features a dog named Daliso, who was saved from euthanasia at the last moment by compassionate individuals. Since that pivotal moment, he dedicated his life to comforting others!

Daliso Never Gave Up

One day, Craig and Virginie Fields, from New York Bully Crew, received a call from a vet about Daliso, then just a 1-day-old puppy about to be euthanized. Born with a cleft palate, he couldn’t suck milk, leading his original owner to choose euthanasia. They immediately jumped in their car and drove hundreds of miles to save him.

Daliso was given tube feedings and lived in constant care, nestled in an incubator. His new parents did everything they could to make his life more comfortable, and within just a few weeks, the results were incredible!

“Daliso fought day and night to survive, requiring tube feedings every two hours. He was so small he resembled a gerbil.”

“After weeks of perseverance, Daliso overcame the odds and became a lively and healthy puppy. We chose the name Daliso, which means ‘blessing’”, say the NYBC.

Transforming Into A Beauty

With his loving family in New York, Daliso transformed into a remarkable puppy! He gained strength, shed the need for tubes and incubators, and grew a pair of outstanding ears! He was a special bully pup, embracing his unique appearance with pride.

His parents were ecstatic to see him overcome his tough beginnings! He even found companionship with his house mate, Earl, who became his inseparable friend.
